Joyce Fernandes
Biography
Joyce is originally from Foz do Iguaçu, Brazil, where she pursued her undergraduate studies in Languages and Literature. She has a Masters in Literature and a graduate certificate in English language and literature. She has background in teaching foreign languages and literature across diverse cultural landscapes such as Brazil, Israel, and Brown University. Her research focuses on literary translation, with a particular emphasis on African and Diasporic literatures in Portuguese.
