Biography
Aline Frazão (b. 1988, Luanda) is an Angolan musician and writer with 15 years of multidisciplinary work across music, literature, and performance. She holds a B.A. in Communication Sciences from NOVA University Lisbon and is the recipient of a DGLAB Literary Creation Grant for her first novel. Her short fiction has appeared in Granta em Língua Portuguesa, and she has composed music for film and theater. Her interests include African Lusophone literature, music, and cultures, with a focus on Angolan literature; African literature in the Lusophone world; Black identities and diasporas; gender studies; history and literature; politics, propaganda, and national identity; trauma and memory; and music and songwriting in the Lusophone world.
